TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH OF BROADBAND ACCESS THROUGH THE POWER LINE COMMUNICATION

In this work we’ve investigated recent technologies of broadband access through the power communication lines (PLC) We wrote about such problem, as low frequency range in PLC for broadband access and such undesirable characteristics, as high attenuation, multipath fading and noise random time-varying impulsive behavior. Further we mentioned such well-known method, as Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM) that was applied to the PLC. For the best understanding the advantages of this method we described it and wrote the principles of its work. Also we mentioned the performance of three nonlinear techniques. Clipping, Blanking and joint Clipping/Blanking in reducing the effect of impulsive noise in OFDM-based PLC systems and suggested new method for resolving this problem. We showed all results on the graph and made the conclusion.
